7. Romantic Island
Romantic Island is a second-year project to understand and practice techniques within my specialism in print.
Orangic / Natural / Artistic / Timeless / Cozy / Bold / Geometric
Due to covid, people have been forced to spend time in their homes and still, there are lots of people who doing remote work at home. This drives people to create a space that reflects both visually and affectionately what it is we are feeling. Lately, people are paying attention to how design can create energy. So, through this project, I aimed to present an opportunity to improve the quality of life in a closed space by adding richness to a boring and ordinary personal space, suggesting a diverse range of S/S interior collections containing the artistic aesthetics found in exhibitions or hotel wallpapers based on the comfort that nature gives to a private closed space.
Based on Toast brand’s identity and benchwork which is Drop it modern wallpaper company, I developed my works. This s/s interior collection includes boldly shaped artistic mural-style wallpapers and some mid-modern-century aesthetic home accessories taken from the relaxing vibes of nature.
